Thomas Keehn - Expert in Construction in Maryland and North Carolina

University of Maryland graduate Thomas Keehn is a seasoned construction industry professional with over three decades of entrepreneurial leadership in home improvement and contracting. As the owner of Certified Contractors Inc. in Wilmington, North Carolina, Thomas Keehn continues to expand his presence in the field, which began in Maryland in 1990 with Certified Inc.

After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Mr. Keehn worked as a home improvement sales representative for Universal Energy Corp. He acquired extensive sales and customer service experience, earning multiple salesman of the month awards.

In 1990, Mr. Keehn founded Certified Inc. in Olney, Maryland. Under his leadership, the company achieved significant recognition, ranking No. 1 in Maryland and No. 13 nationally for submitting five-star warranties through Certainteed Corp. In 2020, he relocated to North Carolina, establishing Certified Contractors Inc., where he continues to oversee all aspects of operations, from project contracting and crew management to client relations and payroll administration.

Mr. Keehn is a member of several trade organizations including the Better Business Bureau, National Association of Home Builders, and the National Roofing Contractors Association. Outside of work Thomas Keehn maintains an active lifestyle, enjoying golf, international travel, hiking, and boating.
